We will make reasonable efforts to provide you a safe and secure user experience. We seek to offer a clear view of our online data collection practices and usage policies for www.wedogood.in (the "Site" and any "Services"). Our commitment to you is we will put our best efforts not to disclose information collected from you, other than as described in this policy. The following discloses in detail our information collection, utilization, and dissemination practices for WeDoGood.

‍We will only use the personal information you provide us according to the terms outlined in this document. To participate in WeDoGood (the "Service"), you must provide a limited amount of information so that WeDoGood and community organizations you would like to work with may contact you. During registration or through your Account Profile, you may choose to "opt out" of receiving communications from WeDoGood or "opt in" to receiving communications about volunteering and other non-volunteering opportunities or activities. We WILL NOT provide your personal identifying information (e.g., name, contact information, or volunteer information) to non-Authorized Users (e.g., non-profit organizations) unless you indicate so.We generally do not collect or use personal financial or medical information. If we do have to collect sensitive personal data for any reason we will only do so with an individual’s express consent as to what information may be collected, and how the information may be used.We collect other non-personal information that relates purely to generic statistics – whether that be via the use of electronic mediums such as websites or through participation statistics in our programs and activities.

Information we collect

‍Information you directly provide to us: When you register using WeDoGood, you will provide a variety of information about yourself including, (i) contact information like name, email address, postal address, phone number, and mobile number; (ii) username and password; (iii) bank details including credit card or debit card details; and (iv) any correspondence between you and us. We may display some of this information on our Site publicly (such as name, location, and profile) and this information can be viewed by all registered users of the Site. We will not display any of your personal information including volunteering experience, skills, cause interests, or volunteer biography with the general public. However, this personal information may be shared either with volunteers or organizations looking for volunteers as this is the most reliable way to ensure that volunteers and organizations will properly match.When you register with our Site we require your email address that may be used for all communications ensuing from your activity on the Site. We reserve the right to send you emails regarding volunteer announcements, user account messages, and Privacy Policy or Terms of Use changes. If you wish to be removed from any communications simply respond to the link provided in the email you have received. Though, even if you opt-out from receiving emails, you would still be getting emails about changes in Privacy Policy or Terms of Use whenever that happens.When using the Service, we may create "cookies" on your computer for purposes of facilitating and maintaining your current user session and may collect Personal Data using those cookies to enable WeDoGood to identify you in connection with the Service and to track use of the Service for purposes consistent with this policy.

Children’s Privacy

‍Any Authorized User providing Personal Data is certifying that they are over the age of 13. As such, we do not collect or maintain Personal Data from individuals we actually know are under 13 years of age, and no part of our Site or Service is designed to attract people under the age of 13. Protecting the privacy of children is very important to us. Thus, if we ever obtain knowledge that a user is under the age of 13, we will take steps to remove that user's Personal Data from our databases and to prevent the user from utilizing the Site and the Service. If you are under 13 years of age, then please do not use or access the Services at any time or in any manner.

‍We may use the personal information collected to send you email communications, such as new volunteering opportunities and policy changes of WeDoGood. We may also use the information to send you copies of newsletters in case you have signed up for the subscription. We will not share, sell or otherwise divulge any personal information provided by you with any third parties unless we receive your affirmative consent. However, we will be required to divulge such information under certain circumstances as described under the Required Disclosures section below. An acceptance of a volunteering opportunity in a post for a volunteer opportunity would be deemed to be affirmative consent and we will disclose your personal information with the matched party.

‍We might use third-party suppliers and service providers to facilitate the services we provide on the Site who shall have access to your personal information who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide services to you. We have also adopted commercially reasonable technical, physical, and administrative procedures to help protect your personal information. As part of our policy, we seek to work with companies that also have a high work ethic and share our commitment to privacy. We shall also strive to restrict how these suppliers or service providers may use or disclose the personal information to which they have access but we shall in no way be responsible for such third parties or their activities. However, as this is the internet we can make no assurances or guarantees that your information will be 100% safe.
